I read all the other reviews on here and jumped to buy this lens. It seemed perfect for the price and since I am only an amateur I didn’t need anything fancy. Well, the lens is no good! The focus in low light is non existent. Even in the shade I couldn’t get a photo. It’s incredibly noisy and I couldn’t even switch into Macro mode. It was stuck! So, don’t bother spending your money on this lens if you plan on taking good photos!!

Customer Review: Not the best, not the worst.
I started using the telephoto lens and when I zoomed in close to the action, everything looked slightly blurred. Cleaned all lenses and tried again and still the same. Lens quality was not great. The wide angle lens was awesome while recording on my Canon HF100… until I viewed the video and noticed that I could see a good deal of the lens edge on the right top and bottom corners of the tv. I couldn’t see this through the camera lcd screen but it was obvious on the television.

Customer Review: Flawless Camera
I have had many pro cameras for many years. I wanted the ease of a point and shoot camera but with superior optics and built in software to compensate for less than perfect lighting conditions. The camera works very well, and I did not have to use any of the extra technology that the camera comes with. As with all fine cameras do not drop or sit on the camera, and buy and use the plastic film LCD screen protector to Keep the LCD from being scratched or nicked.

Customer Review: Decent Zoom Lens
This lens is fairly good for it’s low price tag. It has quite a bit of zoom range, which is the main reason I bought it. It is rather slow, but can generally get the job done. I used this lens to shoot a high school soccer game and football game for the school newspaper and yearbook. I got some great soccer results, and got some decent football shots from the students section at night. If you are looking for a low priced zoom lens, try this one out.

The 2.5″ Screen Protectors work as promised. They went on without a hitch. I suggest reading the small set of instructions and make sure that you do not touch the adhesive side. The protectors are a tad dull but I can see the screen clearly and they fit perfectly. Recommended for anyone owning a product that has a 2.5″ screen.

I mainly bought this kit for the battery for my new Canon HV20 camera and thought the case would be nice. I couldn’t be more pleased. The case is compact, but allows room for the camera, batteries, power adapter, tapes and cords. There is a little zip up compartment in the handle to accommodate an accessory,like a cord. This case is so much easier to transport than the big camera bag used for my analog camera. dBahr and Billy Wayne.
